The Hands Behind Soru

Meet the skilled team behind the statement pieces you love!

Crafted with Heritage and Skill

We partner with three small, independent, family-run workshops to bring our designs to life. These are artisans we have worked with for over 10 years. Two are based in Italy and one in Turkey. The skills used to create each jewel depend on where it is made, as each workshop specialises in its own craft.

Everything is handmade in small batches with care and attention, never mass produced.

Our Tuscan partners, pictured here, are a perfect example. Even the water used to clean the jewellery after plating and polishing is purified before being released back into the surrounding countryside.

Every person in the workshop is family. The father, mother, sons, cousins and aunties all work together on different stages of the process, taking pride in every piece they help bring to life.

The Heart of Soru: Our Artisans

Each piece of Soru jewellery is brought to life by talented artisans in small, family-run workshops across Italy and Turkey. These makers use traditional techniques passed down through generations to ensure every detail is finished with intention, care and soul.

Handmade, Not Mass-Produced

Nothing at Soru is mass produced. Every style is made in small batches, allowing us to honour quality over quantity. That means better working conditions for our makers, less waste, and a slower pace of fashion that feels more special with every wear.

Why It Matters

When you wear a piece of Soru, you’re wearing something made with time, skill, and care. It’s why so many of our customers return again and again, because true quality, meaningful design, and human connection never go out of style.

We proudly collaborate with these specialists who share our belief in slow, meaningful production.

Before and After

From a delicate wax mould to a finished piece of treasure, each Soru jewel begins as a work of art in the hands of our skilled artisans. Their exceptional talent, precision, and passion for traditional techniques transform raw materials into meaningful pieces designed to be worn and cherished for years to come.
