Double Sided Earrings, Amazonite

Very, very disappointed with quality

I would like to know why my recent very honest review about the poor quality of my Double Sided Amazonite earrings has not appeared on your website. Do you only post glowing 5 star reviews which are full of praise? My review was my valid experience, and my disappointment about the lack of quality control.

Very, very disappointed with quality

Unfortunately this is a very poor review. I am lucky to own some lovely pieces of Soru jewellery. Unfortunately this is the second time I have received earrings which have not been adequately quality control checked. The last item was Laurel earrings which were sent out with missing pearl decorative stones. I did not even give a negative review for these earrings. My very good friend has always admired my Amazonite jewellery so as it was her birthday I bought the double sided Amazonite earrings from Soru as a surprise treat. What arrived was the poorest quality and mismatched Amazonite stones which I have seen. Firstly good quality Amazonite should be a beautiful vibrant colour which is usually fairly uniform in colour. I definitely would not dream of gifting these earrings to my friend. I will list the issues with this order. The big selling point is the fact that the earrings are double sided. They are, but the big problem is that they are displaying 3 different colours front and back. I do realise that naturally occurring stones do have some variance but come on 3 completely different colours in one pair of earrings. * The two front stones are completely not color matched. One front stone is a very unattractive, dull lacklustre sludgy green colour with absolutely no vibrancy. The other front stone has a very un-uniform, unattractive milky shila through the stone. * The two back facing stones are the only matched stones, again this is not a good thing. The two back facing stones are a very unattractive, dull, lacklustre milky opaque colour there is absolutely no vibrancy or colour recognisable Amazonite hue only a milky white colour. Even though I bought these earrings with 25% off they still cost over £100. What is going on with quality control? These earrings should have never been sent out to a customer. I will be returning for a full refund. This is a extract from a reputable Amazonite selling company. "Good quality Amazonite is usually very bright. It often looks as though it has an excellent polish added to the gemstone even though it does not. If the stone you are looking at does not have any luster, it probably isn't a good quality material.

I love these earrings...they have a beautiful weight...not too heavy, yet substancial. Because they are doublesided when I wear my hair up I know that however I turn my head, the beautiful amazonite stone (and black crystals on edges) catch the light and others eye as I have had compliments every single time I wear them. Just like with my Santina earrings (the large ones)....EVERYONE wants to know where to purchase them. (I'm gonna need my own parking spot at your headquarters if this keeps up, lol). Keep up the great work with the beautiful, striking and unique designs and the quality.
