Hi,

It's a new season- and i'm feeling inspired. Unlike my sister, who is true sunshine girl, I love the end of summer, when you can feel Autumn in the air. I much prefer winter clothing- the tailoring, rich colours, cashmere, wool and leather.  All of the new collections are emerging, and i'm loving whats out there- especially that Dries Van Noten seems to be having a moment, I have always loved their work- brocade, jacquard, embellishment... feels so relevant right now. 

We have released our new Mythos styles- adding bracelets and earrings to our best selling Mythos offerings. The Love Talisman Earrings in Amber are proving to be my most worn so far this September, the colour is perfect for Autumn.

We are busy getting ready for our new collection - inspired by all things mystical and enchanted. Not long until we launch- and I cannot wait to share it with you. Our new pieces will transition perfectly from the golden colours of Autumn to the glittering party scene of December. I have already been wearing the Carnelian Necklace on repeat, I predict this will be one of the bestsellers from the collection.

At the end of August we went to the Schiaparelli: Fashion Becomes Art exhibition at the V&A in London. We went for inspiration, and boy did it deliver. She was a pioneer and an incredible business woman. Her designs are works of art (I am dreaming of finding a suitably priced vintage piece one day- but after this exhibition- the chances are looking slim). Her collection of perfume bottles, jewellery and buttons were just incredible. I would highly recommend this exhibition for anyone that is inspired by craftsmanship at its finest.

I had some lovely meals at RH at Aynhoe Park (where we once did a photoshoot before it was RH) over the summer- the food it always amazing here, I tried the new one thats just opened in Mayfair too, which is just as beautiful - minus the herd of deer outside though. We also had a gorgeous meal at Canteen in Chipping Norton- great to try for those can't get to the Notting Hill one, the food was so good- especially the chocolate mousse drizzled with olive oil and sprinkled with sea salt.

Talking of Chocolate mousse- a basin of this was enjoyed at Cafe Janou in Paris while I was there for 2 nights with my daughter and some friends. We went to some fabulous places and had the best time- you can read all about it in my travel Journal- 2 nights in Paris.

What i'm reading- I have just finished Who Cooked The last Supper, By Rosalind Miles- it was incredibly interesting- I learnt so much about women's history, it was a great read. I am now reading The Honeymoon Effect, by Bruce Lipton. He writes about epigenetics in a way that it is easy to understand and SO interesting. I read Biology of Belief a while ago, and it has always stuck with me, I have been meaning to read his other books. Don't let the title fool you- its not a self help book about love, it's a book about how our subconscious beliefs effect our lives.

I have just got back from a trip to Forte Dei Marmi on the coast of Tuscany. Miles of golden beaches, full of chic beach clubs, views of the sea to one side and the mountains to the other. Everyone gets around by bike, the shopping is amazing and the people watching even better- full of inspiration. I will do a little guide to where I stayed and what I did soon and add it to our Travel Guides.
