Chapters of Soru Summer- Behind the Scenes

Our new summer collection is so epic that we decided to split it into two chapters. Summer isn't just about sitting on the beach in the sun (although it probably should be), it's also about city breaks, summer workwear and celebratory events. So with that in mind, we wanted to create a variety of pieces that can be worn all summer long (and beyond of course), for any occasion.... and so Soru Summer was created. Chapter 1- Roman Holiday, features strong, modern pieces while Chapter 2- Aqua Azzura is full of colourful turquoise and chic, beach vibes.

We visited our maker in Tuscany to see the new collection pieces being made, step by step and completely by hand... each piece is truly made with love and the greatest detail. Much of the jewellery you will find on the market today is not made how our jewellery is made, which it what makes Soru so special.

We did our model shoot at our usual spot- Jet studios in London (the food at this place is AMAZING!). Our model was Gabjja Kure from M&P Models and she was a delight to work with, as was our wonderful photographer Holly Broomhall and MUA Brodie Mayhew.

We took the model outside on the street for some social media shots, luckily the sun was shining and the jewellery and vibe were perfect.

The results....

Chapter 1- Roman Holiday

We want to feel chic, modern and cosmopolitan on a city break, so with that in mind we designed our first chapter. Geographic chains to reflect city skylines, statement stud earrings to wear with tailored short suits, pearls and a pop of green for elegant rooftop dinners. Inspired by vintage statement jewellery, you will cherish these pieces forever.

Chapter 2- Aqua Azzura

Dive into the turquoise waters of Capri and dine on fresh seafood by the sea wearing our bright turquoise gems against freshly bronzed skin. We have created pieces using combinations of turquoise and white, resulting in versatile pieces that are both modern and boho- add a touch of gold filigree and you will be the best dressed for sundowners.
