Female Founder Lunch hosted by Needle & Thread

Hannah Coffin is the founder of Needle & Thread- a brand we adore and even created a collaboration with last year.

She is a powerhouse of a woman and even though her schedule is jam packed she makes time to organise this annual event, bringing female founders together to connect, inspire and support.

Hosting a beautiful lunch at spring (Somerset House) we got to meet and mingle with the women behind these amazing brands; sitting next to Katie Brindle, Fox & Vamp and Rosie Nixon I left feeling motivated which is a blessing as if you are in business yourself you will know how much of a rollercoaster it can be!

To compliment the gorgeous Needle & Thread florals, our goodie bags were actually baskets (what a bonus, as now I don't have to take a bag down the lane with me when I'm picking blackberries this year!) full of tokens from all the founders themselves.  I have been using the body oil from Balance Me, none stop.

We wore LOTS of our new styles of course! Mari wore the Viola necklace, which is  such a chic addition to our pearl collection and I opted to wear the Venus earrings to compliment the  Needle and Thread dress, pretty was the theme!

And although this was a wonderful lunch I must tell you the truth about the travel- when you don't live in London, (where most other similar businesses to ours are based) it can be a struggle to meet other founders, so we made an extra effort to get there- however it was the hottest day of the year (apparently trains don't work well in heat!) we were sat on a packed train with no air conditioning, 30 degrees outside temperature for an hour, what would usually take us 2 hours took us 3 and then on the way home it was exactly the same! However this time we had a carriage with air con (small blessings :-0)- these are the things you don't see!!

Lots of Love,

Cesca Xx
