Between Sisters: October Notes

Since my last notes, so much has happened: we launched a whole new collection, shot it ourselves (!), had a seasonal sale AND Soru turned 13 years old!!

We’re well into Scorpio/Halloween season, with darkness setting in around 4.30pm and an overwhelming urge to make soup. (Anyone else feel like this Venus retrograde is never going to end?)

What I Have Been Wearing

My newest jewels have been PERFECT for keeping me grounded while still looking chic. I’ve found myself reaching for the Oracle Pendant Necklace time and time again, with its large, domed protective onyx gemstone. It looks just as good layered over knits and roll-necks, which is a bonus in this weather!

My Micro Mosaic Celestial Star Pendant is still — and forever will be — my favourite piece. I don’t save this one for special occasions, though, and I’ve found myself reaching for it more and more over the last few weeks.

We have just ONE left in stock, and I wanted to give you a little heads-up about its future price. The cost of gold has risen significantly since we last made this piece, as have the costs of the other materials, including natural sapphires and diamonds. When we make it again, the price will need to increase by around 30%.

I hate having to say that, but unfortunately, it’s the reality of working with precious materials. We either have to stop making this piece altogether or adjust the price to reflect what it now costs to produce.

So, if you’ve had your eye on this style, this is your last chance to buy it at its current price. The piece is already worth more at today’s gold prices, but we’ve held off increasing the price for as long as we can.

I love this pendant so much, but realise the price tag isn't for everyone. We had the exact same mosaic art image carved into Murano glass for the Celeste Mythos Charm as an alternative.

The Love Talisman Bracelet has been firmly on my wrist the entire time. With the beautiful inscription 'You are Loved' on the side, an easy-to-use toggle fastening and Murano glass in a colour to compliment whatever I'm wearing, it's become my go-to.

And honestly, it would make the perfect gift this — dare I say it — Christmas.

What We Are Working On

This is another spill the tea moment, you heard it here first... we are working on a very special collaboration with Lynn Jinks . Me and my sister recently discovered Lynn when having personal crystal healing sessions that blew us away. Our long time interest in crystals, not only for their beauty but the energetic frequencies and effects on the body have always been a fascination of ours.

Once we had our sessions with Lynn we knew we had to bring the same crystals into Soru. I won't say too much now apart from that we are hoping to launch in January and watch this space!
