Between Sisters: February Notes

I know everyone tries to get January and February out of the way, but personally I love this time of the year. A time for re-setting and hibernating without feeling guilty. I also prefer my winter wardrobe to my summer one- the rich materials and textures, cosy knits and tailored jackets- way better than a summer dress if you ask me.

What's Inspiring me? - Jackie Onassis' off duty style is inspiring me at the moment. The style icon keeps popping up on my feed and I am here for it.

This necklace is such an iconic piece- simple but luxurious, it's a piece I would love in my jewellery box and can imagine it looks just as good over a jumper.

Flat lays of dreams- Vintage Bulgari. When I am designing new pieces I always think- what do I want to wear next season? High end vintage is always a source of inspiration, followed by anything boho if summer is approaching.

What I'm reading- I have been drawn to books about the afterlife of late. I think its good for the soul to contemplate an afterlife, there is some amazing research on this subject that brings me comfort and acceptance. After by Dr Bruce Greyson is a great read, and I have nearly finished Laura Lynne Jackson's new book- The Light Between Us. Her first book, Signs, is a must read if you have lost someone close to you.

Where I'm going - With the Cotswolds only an hour away this is where I go for nice lunches and time with friends. I had a restorative night at my favourite place- Estelle Manor with @mor_style - we did the Thermal Journey in the spa, reformer pilates and had a good catch up. The new Conservatory at RH England is beautiful (as is everything there) and I love to potter around the antique shops in Stow and I'm always up for a coffee at Daylesford.

On my list to try this year- The Newt in Somerset, which has been on my list for a while, along with Grantley Hall in York. In London I would love to stay at The 22 or Ham Yard and enjoy a long lunch at La Poule Au Pot.

What I'm wearing on repeat- the Roma Necklace is so good at the moment- it looks chic over knits and just finishes every outfit, along with the Roma Bracelet- for high end vintage vibes. My everyday 'go to' earring has been the Skyline Earrings- they look so expensive and take me from day to night effortlessly.
