4This statement pendant features a large facetted genuine labradorite gemstone, set within a star shaped casing of multi-facetted crystals. The reverse of the pendant features a secret smiling moon with a textured surface as a finishing touch. Hung from a delicate chain.
A note on labradorite: Said to have a calming and harmonising effect, thought to bring out the best in the wearer. According to Inuit lore, the Northern Lights were once trapped along the rocks on the coast of Labrador. A warrior attempted to release the lights, but the spectrum of the light's colours remained within the stones.
Behind the name: Italian word for "nebula", an enormous astronomical cloud of dust and gas occupying the space between stars and acting as a nursery for new stars.
